Rebildfesten for The New York Times
For The New York Times I spent a day photographing volunteers and locals in the small Danish town Rebild, which has celebrated the 4th of July since 1912. The organizers in Rebild call it the biggest celebration of the American national day outside the United States. But this year the annual event has been affected by the tension between the United States, Denmark and Greenland as American officials have been cut from the program.
