The Danish government has begun the opening of society after covid-19 lockdown. This week marked a significant beginning as schools, shops and even hairdressers are opening up again. I have photographed the new opening for HBL and KSF Media.

The rising temperatures are making it possible to grow wine as far north as Scandinavia. In October I spent a day at the Danish vineyard Skærsøgaard Vin during their harvest for The New York Times. The story was published on the front page of the newspaper.
In 1989 Denmark was the first country in the world to allow registered partnership between same-sex couples. For a story for Le Monde I photographed three of the couples who had their partnership registered at Copenhagen City Hall on the first day on October 1st 1989.
