For Le Monde I photographed for a story on the eviction of Syrians in Denmark. I photographed during a demonstration in Copenhagen on April 21st and visited Suzan Jelelatti and her two grown-up children Joud and Tulip who have all had their visas revoked.

For The Wall Street Journal I have met the Bertawi family who recently had their Danish residency visas revoked. As the only country in Europe, Denmark have stripped the residency visas of more than 250 Syrians living in Denmark, stating that it is now safe to move back to the Damascus area.

I recently photographed singer Erika de Casier on the Danish island Fanø for Rolling Stone Magazine. The story was published in the March issue of the the printed magazine and the article can he read online here.
In late December I met Joachim and Ingrid Wall in their hometown in Southern Sweden on assignment for De Morgen.
Their daughter Kim Wall disappeared on August 10th 2017 after boarding the Danish inventor Peter Madsen’s submarine in Copenhagen. Kim’s body was later found and Peter Madsen confessed to the murder of Kim Wall.
Since then Joachim and Ingrid Wall has founded The Kim Wall Memorial Fund to support the work of female reporters covering subculture, broadly defined, and what Kim liked to call “the undercurrents of rebellion”.
The photographs of Ingrid and Michael were published in December in Belgian newspaper De Morgen.
