For Helsingør Dagblad I wrote and photographed a story on teenage surfers in the small town Hornbæk in Denmark.

In October I worked on a story for Le Monde on some of the Syrian refugees who had their visa withdrawn by the Danish government. We visited a Syrian family who are living at the deportation center Kærshovedgård.

For The New York Times I have met and photographed Khalida Popal, founder and former captain of the Afghan women’s soccer team. I photographed Khalida in Denmark while she was teaching football at a Danish asylum center, went to work at the football club FC Nordsjælland and visited her parents.

For the French magazine L’Obs I photographed for a story on the culinary scene in Copenhagen. The story focused on restaurants and café with a focus on local vegetarian produce from Denmark. We visited the food market Banegården, visited the Mushroom farm Funga Farm, went foraging with Jason Renwick, the owner of the two vegan restaurants Lupa and Ark. We also visited the restaurant Ark which were recently acclaimed with a green michelin star.

For the Swiss magazine Republik I recently went on a walking tour with Danish architect and urban design consultant, Jan Gehl. The story was about urban planning and how this has been implemented in specific areas of Copenhagen. Article by journalist Solmaz Khorsand.

I recently spent a day with 14-year old Anna-Mariia Kraevskaia Hansen in Horsens, Denmark.
Anna-Mariia is half Russian and half Danish and since the war in Ukraine began she has experienced being bullied in school for her Russian background. Published in The New York Times yesterday.
