The 2900's

The area that goes under the name North Zealand, or the less flattering nickname ’The Whiskey Belt’, has been known for it’s wealth since the early 1900’s. Many of the countries richest live along this shoreline. The people from this area are often stereotyped as snobs both among Danes in general as well as in Danish TV shows and films. However for many locals in North Zealand there is pride in living in this area. Having the economical success to live along this shoreline and being surrounded by other people of power and status is of great value to many of the people living there. The project ‘The 2900’s’ takes a look at everyday life as it is lived along Denmark’s richest shoreline.
